Fundraiser

Churros4Change is a an annual fundraiser sponsored by San Diablo Churros. Each year, 3 local non-profits are chosen as the beneficiaries of a holiday giving fiesta! 

OVERVIEW:

As the head event planner, I coordinated all festivities including:

  • Catered tacos, drinks, and all-you-can-eat churros

  • A silent auction

  • A range of musical performances from a vinyl DJ, beatboxer,  and Voice star, Ryan Innes! 

  • A booth for each nonprofit to connect

  • A bingo card to get people involved

  • A photo booth

  • And an interactive art installation

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Coordinating with all vendors, talent, & volunteers

  • Strategy to demonstrate the mission of the non-profits

  • Experience design for the ultimate fiesta feel

SIDE NOTE: The event raised $16K total for 3 local non-profits and connected them to a fresh audience of changemakers!
