OVERVIEW:

I’m decidedly against parties that consist only of strangers standing around making smalltalk. This party was designed for interaction!

Priya Parker has a term called “generous authority” which we employed heavily. Basically, “making” people do things they already want to do, but likely wouldn’t pursue on their own. Like partnering with that cutie in the corner for the next game.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Polaroids posted for writing notes or phone numbers

• All the best library books on flirting for browsing

• A button machine was a surprising hit!

SIDE NOTE: I found an old game from the 60’s called “Funny Bones” on Ebay. The flower power generation sure knew how to break the touch barrier!
